Cindy Noble, M.S.Ed., LCMHCS

I am a Master’s level licensed counselor (License # S2675) practicing since 1994, and have been in private practice since 2002. I received my Master’s degree at the University of Kansas in 1991 and my North Carolina licensure in 1996. My practice is more than a job, it is a ministry that I believe God has blessed me with and He has given me a great desire to work with hurting people. My primary work is with individuals and couples. Most recently, I have attained my North Carolina Supervision licensure to be able to provide supervision to those LCMHCA’s wishing to obtain LCMHC licensure.

My personal experience in my own marriage, and in raising three wonderful (grown) children, have helped me to be more empathic and competent in helping people struggling with these relationships. Marriage and parenting can be a challenge and sometimes we need direction when our approaches to resolve the issues are not working. I am active in my local church and in growing in my Christian walk.

Choosing a counselor is an important decision. It can be difficult to find the “right fit” in a counselor and I am available to discuss my approach more fully and answer any questions you may have prior to the first appointment. For individual issues, I can use a Cognitive Behavioral approach which has proven to be highly effective in a reasonable time frame. In couples counseling I work quickly to identify areas where couples get “stuck” and identify practical tools that have been proven effective.

My licensure is regulated by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors.

Clinical Supervision

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS). I received this licensure in 2014 and am available to supervise Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associates who are working toward receiving their LCMHC licensure in North Carolina. I will provide a free consultation to discuss this should you be interested, to see whether I would be a good fit for you.

Christian Focus

As a Christian, I know some are seeking a Christ-Centered approach. I am happy to offer that. To me, being a Christian is about relationship with our Creator and Savior. It is not about religion. My practice is not to exclude those who are not seeking a Christian approach, but to offer help to anyone in the most respectful way, within the bounds of my experience and expertise.
